We, Stellar Team / Viktorija Daugvilaviciute are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the personal information of individuals who use our services. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the information you provide to us.

Our commitment and obligations to you

  • information related to coaching sessions, including sessions notes and feedback

Where appropriate, and in accordance with local laws and requirements, we may also collect information related to diversity, security clearance status or details of any criminal convictions.

If you are a our client, we need to collect and use information about you, or individuals at your organisation, in the course of providing you with our recruitment, training, coaching or consulting services. This can include finding candidates to fill your roles, providing you with internal recruitment services, notifying you of content published by us which may be relevant to you, providing personal training, coaching or consulting.

We will also in accordance with data protection laws store information relating to previous dealings with us, including job applications, email and telephone communications, job interviews and placements.

We collect a limited amount of data from the users of our website which we use to help us to improve your experience when using our website and to help us manage the services we provide. This includes information such as how you use our website, the most popular referrers and website responsiveness. You can read more about this in our Cookies Policy.

We also receive personal information concerning candidates from customers that are used by us to provide placement services. The personal information we receives in this business to business transaction is used for this limited purpose and is subject to the data protections principles.

Where we obtain your information

We may obtain candidate information from any number of locations:

  • When you register or apply for jobs

  • When you correspond with us by phone, email or otherwise

  • When you visit our website

  • When you register your CV on a job board and it matches certain criteria

  • When you apply for a role via a job board

  • When you are referred by a friend or colleague

  • Through your online profiles

When we obtain your information from external sources such as LinkedIn, corporate websites and job boards we will contact you within a reasonable timeframe to ensure that our services are appropriate or relevant to you.

There are two main ways in which we collect client data:

  • Directly from you

  • From third parties such as candidates, online search engines, online job boards, LinkedIn and networking.

Information we collect about you

With regard to each of your visits to our we may automatically collect the following information:

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform; and

  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), cookies and methods used to browse away the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

Legal basis for processing

Our legal basis for the processing of personal data is our legitimate business interests, described in more detail below, although we will also rely on contract, legal obligation and consent for specific uses of data.

We will rely on contractual provisions if there is a legal document between the parties.

We take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information for administration purposes and to provide our recruitment, coaching, training or consulting services. The information we have collected is used to provide our services to you in our capacity as an employment partner, coach or a consultant to find you suitable work whether on a temporary or permanent basis based on your requirements, help you or/and your team grow.

We think it’s reasonable to expect that, if you are looking for employment or have posted your professional CV information on a job board or professional networking site, you recognise that it is fair to collect that public information and otherwise use your personal data to provide our recruitment services, use that to approach you as an onsite recruiter, to share that information with prospective employers and assess your skills against our live vacancies. During the job offer process, your potential employer may also want to confirm your references, qualifications and criminal record which we will ensure is in accordance with the laws and regulations.

We therefore think it’s reasonable for us to process your data and to contact you in order to propose relevant roles or available opportunities.

We may also need to use your data for our internal administrative activities.

Automated decision making

We do not use automated decision-making processes during our relationship with you. Applications and decisions are always reviewed manually.

We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using cookie files stored on your computer or device (“cookies”). They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

We take your privacy very seriously and we’ll only share your information where:

Where we have made your information anonymous, we may share it this outside of Stellar Team with partners such as research groups, universities, advertisers or connected sites. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the financial services market.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), including, in particular, the United States. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers or business partners. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing and/or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. We will retain your personal information for as long as you use our services and for a reasonable time thereafter. After you have terminated your use of our services, we will retain your personal information for up to 10 years and thereafter may store it in an aggregated and anonymised format.

  • Erasure. You may have the right to erasure of personal data held about you by contacting us.

  • Complaints. In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal data, please contact us in the first instance at data@stellarteam.io and we will endeavour to deal with your request as soon as possible. This is without prejudice to your right to launch a claim with the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office.
